Robert Tracy
Robert Tracy was
born in Lafayette, Indiana in 1948. He and his wife
Linda have been married 30 years. They have two
daughters: Gretchen Zappala, 30 and Heather
Kamphaus, 27.
Mr. Tracy is a
self-taught artist. While studying his favorite
artists: Vermeer, Rembrandt, and Andrew Wyeth, he
would ask himself how these Masters achieved their
results. He then applied the knowledge gained to
his own choice of subjects.
Several of his
works are in the collection of the National Vietnam
Veterans Art Museum in Chicago. Some 250 works are
in private collections.
