The Winter Woodblock
Portfolio Some of the most
beautiful and popular motifs in Japanese woodblock
printing include scenic images of snow. Here I have
gathered a couple of examples. I am partial to the
deep saturated blue which is reproduced so well in
Kawase Hasui's two winter prints above. These
prints (and other prints similar to them) are also
