Private Portfolios

Send your own pictures to friends as eCards!

A private portfolio is a page created in Aetiket eCards in which you can place your own photographs or illustrations. These images are not accessed through the front page of the Aetiket eCard site, and only the owner is informed about the URL of the page.

Private portfolios enables individuals or organizations to use the Aetiket eCard site as a means of communicating with and sending eCards to their friends, family, or clients, using personal images such as wedding pictures, children's art, or specialised content such as event brochures.

Typical uses for the Private Portfolios include sending:

Wedding pictures to send as Thank You eCards
Graduation pictures to send as Thank You eCards
A picture for an upcoming exhibition to gallery members
Outreach and Prayer eCards to Church members

Portfolio Specifications

Each private portfolio should contain:

A portfolio title and description
Up to eight images with titles
Default message text (if any) for each image
Default footnote text (if any) for each image
Default sound (if any) associated with each image

Image Specifications

All original photos or illustrations should be roughly 2x3 (width x height) in proportion. The final size of the scanned image will be no more than 230 x 325 pixels at 72 dpi, allowing for a border. Files should be sent compressed in .jpeg or .gif format; in the highest quality mode available.

The images will be post-processed to conform to the Aetiket eCard layout format, and so as not to exceed 40 KB in size per image. A 100 x 150 pixel thumbnail image will also be created for the index.

Please provide a title for each image submitted.

If you are not able to provide scans, I can accept original photographs. Please contact me directly for information about scanning your images.

Cost

Sending and receiving eCards from your Private Portfolio is free.

However, there is a $25. initial setup fee for a Private Portfolio to cover the cost of the installation and setup. Subsequent additions and modifications of images from the Private Portfolio are charged at $5. per image. Copyright

You are required to own or have obtained copy rights for all images, poetry, and sound files submitted. Aetiket eCards cannot be held responsible for acquiring these rights for you. Submitting files or content to Aetiket eCard as a public contribution implies that you are the copyright holder or have rights to the content provided, and that you grant Aetiket eCard the right to copy and distribute the content through the eCard website.

I reserve the right to refuse any contribution which I deem inconsistent with the quality and focus of the Aetiket eCard site.
